Business Continuity Planning describes the responsibilities and operational procedures in regards to the clients actions that may be required in emergencies. These policies and procedures will enable the clients personnel to continue operating critical and essential functions and services in the event of a threat or disruptive activity to the client, its personnel, or its facilities, regardless if that threat is generated by humans or by natural causes.

Service Methodology
Development of a business continuity plan consists of the following three-step process:

  1. Information is gathered via a questionnaire to assess the organization's environment, documented and informal emergency operations, vulnerabilities, geographic hazards, key personnel, etc.
  2. Interviews are conducted with the appropriate management and key personnel to verify previously obtained information and to gain additional background regarding the minimal objectives required to continue process.
  3. A custom business continuity plan is formulated, based upon information gathered, to address the organization's specific recovery objectives.
